Most corporate dashboards do not provide any insights

They just show numbers.

Companies invest in modern tools, create dozens of charts, and believe they are doing BI.

But there's a problem:visualizing data doesn't mean understanding the business.

The true value of BI isn't in the dashboard.

It's in the question he's answering.

Before creating any chart, every data project should start with simple questions:

  • Where are we making money?
  • Where are we losing margin?
  • How has the business's behavior changed?
  • What requires immediate action?

Without a clear question, the dashboard becomes nothing more than a pretty panel on the screen.

And pretty dashboards don't make decisions.

People make decisions.

And better decisions start with better questions.

Business Intelligence isn't about displaying data.

It's about turning data into decisions.
